Job Title: Java Developer with React Location: New York, NW (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract to Hire Experience: 3+ Years Note: Visa: Only GC/USC/GC-EAD 2nd round interview will be onsite, local candidates only. Submit DL and LinkedIn profile. Job Description: The Java Developer with React will be responsible for designing, creating, testing, and deploying solutions across multiple technology domains. The candidate must be proficient in full-stack development and have experience in developing scalable applications in the cloud. Responsibilities: Design, create, test, and deploy solutions across multiple technology domains. Influence, differentiate, and guide business and technology solutions by implementing robust technical capabilities. Collaborate with technology, architecture, product management, and design teams to drive enriched customer experiences. Foster an iterative/Agile environment. Work across teams to present elegant solutions to engineering and business challenges. Write original code to deliver end-to-end solutions using innovative approaches. Build features, enhancements, bug fixes, and conduct unit testing. Troubleshoot and remediate production issues when needed. Support features across all environments and maintain supporting documentation. Reverse engineer code as necessary. Technical Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience in the development and design of complex applications. Strong understanding of Agile SDLC methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including React, Node.js, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Java, MongoDB, and SQL. Strong knowledge of asynchronous processing technologies like ActiveMQ, Kafka, and AWS SQS. Experience with service implementation using REST-based standards and true microservices development. Experience building and delivering scalable APIs and platforms. Knowledge of security concepts such as authentication, authorization, encryption, MFA, SSL, etc. Experience with web service proxies, firewalls, and multi-protocol gateways. Hands-on experience building applications in the cloud (preferably AWS) using core AWS services. Proficiency in serverless applications such as EC2, Lambda, and API Gateway. Understanding of cloud databases and NoSQL concepts (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Aurora) including caching (ElastiCache). Experience using a CI/CD pipeline for cloud deployments (preferably AWS) using GitLab, Jenkins, and cloud formation templates. Experience with AWS EKS, SQS, SES, S3, and Redis is a plus. Experience with GIT source control and GitHub Enterprise. Experience using Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow. Experience developing large-scale, high-traffic, auto-scalable applications in the cloud.
