Monitor and troubleshoot Exadata performance issues, ensuring optimal database operations. Fine-tune and optimize Exadata performance, leveraging HCC, RDMA, IORM, Smart Scan, and database migration methodologies. Manage InfiniBand networks, Storage Servers, CellCLI, and bundle patches to maintain system integrity. Administer Oracle 19c RAC and ASM with a strong focus on high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies. Set up and manage Pluggable Databases (PDBs) and Container Databases (CDBs) following best practices. Utilize Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM) for seamless database migrations. Maintain Exadata environments running OEL Unix, Linux, or Solaris operating systems. Perform backup and recovery operations using snapshot technologies and Oracle Enterprise Manager monitoring tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth database operations and support business needs. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in Exadata Database Administration. Strong expertise in Exadata Machine Administration and Oracle database patching. Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and High Availability configurations. Solid understanding of InfiniBand, RDMA, IORM, and Smart Scan. Experience with database migration methodologies and DBFS. Knowledge of Linux or Solaris operating systems and command-line administration. Proficiency in Oracle 19c database management and Exadata performance tuning.
