Job Role: Data Discovery Analyst Location: Dallas, TX onsite required local candidates only Job Description: The Data Discovery Analyst will work as part of the Cybersecurity organization to run and analyze the results of enterprise data scans and assist with enhancement of data protection capabilities, including the establishment of data protection policies Required experience/knowledge: - Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training - 2+ years of experience in data discovery and/or data protection, including data loss prevention - Hands-on experience with data discovery/protection tools, such as MS Purview, BigID, Securiti, and/or Sentra - Knowledge of data management disciplines such as data discovery, data governance, data classification, and data privacy - Experience in establishing and assessing data classifications across structured and unstructured data sources - Understanding of data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA - Demonstrated proficiency in strategic thinking and creative problem-solving with the ability to translate data analysis into logical and actionable outcomes Key Requirements: - Ability to interact with enterprise product teams, data analysts, and data governance teams for cross functional efforts - Ability to effectively communicate progress, escalations, and issue analysis to key stakeholders - Ability to work independently and manage ones time to meet commitments and expectation Top 3 Mandatory Skills and Experience: Experience with MS Purview Knowledge of data management principles Experience with data classifications Nice to Have Skills and Experience (preferred but not required): Experience with other data discovery/protection tools, such as Securiti or Sentra The new hire will actively participate in rolling out new data discovery/protection solutions Thanks & Regards Shivangi Alpha Silicon Keywords: microsoft Texas Urgent Req. of Data Discovery Analyst - Dallas, TX - onsite - C2C kolishivangi123@gmail.com https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2315332 |
