Role: SAP FICO Vertex Consultant Location: Austin, TX || Sunnyvale, CA(Onsite) Visa: Only H1B with PPnum Mandatory Duration: 12+ Months Contract Job Description: Responsibilities: Vertex Integration: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Vertex integration with SAP, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate tax computations. System Configuration: Configure SAP Finance modules and Vertex tax software to meet business requirements, including setting up tax rules, calculations, and data structures. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to SAP and Vertex integration, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations. Tax Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of global and country-specific tax procedures to ensure systems are compliant with current regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and IT, to optimize tax-related processes and support business objectives. Qualifications: Total IT Experience required 11+ Years Experience: A minimum of 5 years in SAP Finance, with at least 2 year dedicated to Vertex implementation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP Finance modules and Vertex tax software. Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of tax determination, reporting, and compliance within SAP systems. Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues between SAP and Vertex. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Education: At least a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
