Responsibilities: Serve as a technical leader within the workers' compensation division, guiding strategic projects and innovations. Develop and maintain our backend systems on the Stratus platform, ensuring robust, scalable solutions. Provide expertise in Stratus COBOL, distinct from IBM COBOL environments. Collaborate with a team of 15-20 Stratus COBOL contractors to drive the development and integration of technology solutions. Mentor team members, enhancing their skills and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Engage in comprehensive end-to-end testing of all workers' compensation technology products.
