Java Software Developers play a crucial role in enhancing the capability and efficiency of our business operations through various software development projects. These projects include processing monthly payments via banking institutions, improving online services for members, and transforming client-server applications into modern intranet web applications. Role and Responsibilities: As an ASRS Java Agile Software Developer, you will be part of one of our seven Agile Scrum teams. Each team is dedicated to a specific project for a series of sprints, with the potential to release deliverable functionality after any sprint. Team activities are managed using Atlassian Agile and JIRA. Your Scrum team will consist of 4-7 members and be led by ASRS business and technology leaders. An experienced Technical Lead will support your team to ensure success. Our development pipeline and methodology are rooted in the DevOps concept. Work Environment: The ASRS offers a stable work environment and a professional atmosphere that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Our Software Engineers work on all parts of the application, including automated tests, user interface, controller logic, back-end services, and database operations. While we have some specialists, no one works exclusively on a single tier of the application. Over time, your skills will improve, broaden, and stay current as our systems rely on the latest versions of popular frameworks and technologies such as JQuery, Bootstrap, Java 8/17+, Cucumber, Selenium, Apache Tomcat, the Spring Framework, and Oracle databases.
