Position: Tableau Admin Location: Bellevue, WA(Onsite) JD: Visualization Architecture Designing Data Visualization Architecture: Develop and design the overall structure for data visualization solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and user requirements. Define best practices for creating scalable, flexible, and efficient data visualization systems. Determine the appropriate visualization tools, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, etc.) based on business requirements. Data Integration and Transformation: Work with data engineers and data scientists to ensure proper data preparation, cleaning, and transformation for visualization. Integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.) and ensure it's ready for visualization. Ensure that the data being visualized is accurate, complete, and updated regularly. Building Interactive Dashboards and Reports: Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that present data in a clear and actionable way. Create visuals that are user-friendly, focusing on both aesthetics and usability, allowing users to explore and analyze the data themselves. Ensure that dashboards and visualizations allow for drilldowns, filtering, and real-time data updates, as needed. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand their visualization needs and objectives. Provide consultation on the best ways to represent data for maximum clarity and impact. Gather feedback from users and iterate on visualizations to improve their effectiveness. Ensuring Consistency and Standards: Establish and maintain standards for design, style, and color schemes across visualizations to ensure consistency and alignment with the companys brand or design guidelines. Ensure that the visualizations adhere to data governance and privacy policies. Prototyping and User Testing: Create prototypes of visualizations for stakeholder review before full development to ensure that the final product meets expectations. Conduct user testing to gather insights into the usability and effectiveness of the visualizations and adjust based on feedback. Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of data visualizations and optimize them for speed and responsiveness, especially when working with large datasets. Use performance optimization techniques, such as data aggregation, caching, and lazy loading, to improve the user experience. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and support to internal teams on using and interpreting data visualizations. Create documentation on how to use the visualization tools, dashboards, and reports to ensure users can maximize their potential. Staying Up-to-Date with Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and technologies in data visualization and business intelligence. Continuously evaluate new visualization techniques and methods that can improve the effectiveness of presenting data. Skills and Qualifications Required: Proficiency with Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or open-source libraries like D3.js and Plotly.
