Tittle: Java Developer Location: Austin TX Contract Full SSN -Local Only In this software development role, you will be responsible for developing software applications using sound, repeatable, industry standard methodologies. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on writing software or solutions, based on detailed requirements and system specifications. Development activities will include updating existing software and/or developing new software solutions to address a specific need or solve a particular business problem. Additionally, you will drive development activities in accordance with appropriate methodologies and application of a repeatable, systematic and quantifiable approach to the development process. You will coach/mentor software developers and will review the software being developed. This role will also work closely with architects and/or data scientists to ensure code alignment with design patterns/frameworks. Developer is responsible and accountable for the quality and cohesion of solution architecture components within an assigned domain and their conformance to approved GM IT standards and alignment with the future state enterprise and domain architectural goals. This includes both hands-on development of IT technology solution architectures as well as management of various architectural initiatives. What You'll Do You will be responsible for architecting, developing and leading junior developers, help with requirement analysis, design, implementing and testing software solutions to solve some of the most advanced technical challenges facing the industry As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of application platforms that will be used for solving commonly occurring problems in End-of-Line and General Assembly (GA). You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is very customer-centric, understands the big picture and feels strongly not only about building good software but about making that software achieve its goals. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (related field) or equivalent work experience 7+ years in software development using Java Proficiency in C, C#, and Python Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL Experience working with Visual studio, Azure, and IntelliJ 7+ years industry experience as an Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineer with experience in an agile environment Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complexity analysis 5+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems Keywords: cprogramm csharp information technology Georgia Texas https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2320315 |
