ROLE SUMMARY KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assesses the current and planned implementations to develop short- and long-term architectural roadmaps for SAP systems to meet business requirements. Deliverables here include: technology inventory assessment for commerce domain gap analysis for business operations TSA exit technologies short term roadmap one-to-three-year technology roadmap with identified business goals/objectives three-to-five-year solution recommendation roadmap. Design and define (current / transformation / target) solution architectures that align with business objectives and are in line with the (target) enterprise architecture, in line with clients security architecture and policies Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to meet the needs form the business. Ensure seamless integration of the applications with existing systems and third-party solutions (e.g., payment gateways, marketing automation tools, et cetera). Define the architecture for APIs, microservices, or middleware required to integrate the various applications and third-party systems. Act as the primary technical advisor, guiding the development teams, software engineers, and other IT staff in implementing the selected solutions. Support and mentor the relevant stakeholders in adopting best practices, patterns, and coding standards that align with the architectural design. Assess and recommend third-party tools or SaaS platforms that can enhance the business capabilities within enterprise and commercial (e.g. shipping solutions, marketing platforms). Work closely with project managers, application owners and product owners to ensure the technical roadmap aligns with project timelines and business priorities. Keep track of new trends and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, predictive analytics) that could benefit business operations Work with the other members of the Architecture Team to arrive at a cohesive target architecture that contributes to the achievement of the business objectives. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in a solution architecture role, preferably in the enterprise and/or commercial domains Extensive experience in SAP systems architecture and implementation for ECC and RISE Hands-on mentality Experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architecture, APIs, and cloud architectures is desirable Experience with modern software development practices (e.g., DevOps, CI/CD, Agile methodologies) is desirable Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud-native architecture is desirable Understanding data integrations between various enterprise applications (e.g. SAP) Experience with JIRA Projects is desirable.
