Job Description - Technical Lead Platform Engineer||Local to New York|| Lead for at least past 7 years || Visa - CITIZEN,GREEN CARD,H1B||Need LinkedIn Need local candidates with LinkedIn and somebody who is a lead for at least past 7 years Job Title: Technical Lead Platform Engineer Location: Hybrid 2 day per week in New York City Job Type: Long-term contract to perm About the Role: Were seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior IT Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Leader to drive innovation, system optimization, and team performance across our technology platforms. This role will lead the Platform Engineering, Client Technology Staging, and Internal IT teams, overseeing critical infrastructure projects, security enhancements, automation initiatives, and acquisition integrations. Key Responsibilities: Technical Lead for cross-functional teams focused on platform engineering, endpoint management, and internal IT operations. Oversee large-scale system migrations, including RMM tools (e.g., CW Automate to NinjaOne) and antivirus platforms (e.g., SentinelOne), improving efficiency and reducing operational costs. Design, build, and maintain a library of advanced Power scripts to automate tasks such as deployments, updates, security hardening, and API integrations. Drive OS upgrade projects across thousands of devices, standardizing environments on Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 11. Integrate infrastructure and endpoint systems from recent acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity. Enhance system security through policy enforcement (NTLMv2, encryption, IPv6 disablement, etc.) and EOL support (e.g., 0patch for legacy servers). Implement scalable solutions using Intune, Azure Blob Storage, SAS tokens, and DevOps integrations. Architect and support enterprise Data Warehouses using Azure Data Factory, SQL Clusters, and Netscaler GSLB. Serve as SME/escalation point for high-priority incidents and provide mentorship to IT team members. Qualifications: 9+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or a similar technical leadership role. Deep expertise in endpoint management, Power scripting, Azure, Intune, and RMM tools. Strong understanding of security best practices and enterprise system integration.
