This consultant will work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to ensure secure, automated deployments aligned to 5G Core standards and ASPR compliance. Key Responsibilities: * Cloud Security Engineer will lead the secure integration of HashiCorp Vault into Kubernetes-based application environments * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (Terraform Cloud) * Implement and manage GitHub repositories, GitHub Actions, and automation pipelines * Support secret management, PKI implementations, and dynamic secrets for databases * As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across 60+ application teams * Serve as a security evangelist, educating developers and application teams on best practices * Participate in architecture reviews and define secure-by-design principles for 5G Core services REQUIREMENTS: * 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Security Engineering * Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) administration and deployment * Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Go, and Python * Experience working in Linux/UNIX environments * Familiarity with GitHub Actions and automated pull request workflows * Solid understanding of container security, encryption practices, and secret management * Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to mentor others and work independently with little oversight Preferred: * Experience with HashiCorp Vault or other secret management platforms * Exposure to 3GPP standards or 5G Core systems * ASPR, MCLS, or PKI implementation experience * Previous work in telecom, infrastructure, or compliance-heavy environments -- Keywords: information technology golang fiveg Washington Hybrid Cloud Security Engineer ONly [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2321857&uid= |
