Data Integration Engineer - The Candidate must be local to NY or NJ. The role would be a hybrid model with two days on-site.

$65/hr on C2C for

A Palantir Data Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Palantir's software platform. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop scalable data pipelines, build robust applications, and integrate various data sources to drive impactful decision-making. Youll contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

The following are the skills and experience required for this role:

1. Palantir Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Palantir's software suite, including Palantir Gotham and Palantir Foundry, particularly the Kappa (streaming data) and Lambda (batch data) architectures.

2. ETL/ELT Processes: Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, transform (ELT) processes, understanding how to move and transform data between systems.

3. Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or Go, which are commonly used in Palantir's platform.

4. API Development & Consumption: Skills in creating and consuming APIs to facilitate data exchange between different systems.

5. SQL Proficiency: Strong abilities in writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation and extraction.

6. Data Warehousing: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools, like Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift).

7. Data Modeling: Ability to design and create data models that effectively represent real-world entities and their relationships.

8. Data Security & Compliance: Understanding of data security best practices and compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.

9. Data Quality & Management: Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices. 10. Version Control: Experience with version control systems like GIT.

11. Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and understanding of how to deploy and manage applications on these platforms.

12. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues, debug code, and optimize data pipelines for performance.

13. Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and document processes.

14. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, understanding Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
