Role :: Lead Application Support

Location: Kansas, Overland Park/KS - Frisco/TX - Seattle/WA- Candidate needs to work in PST time zone Onsite/No hybrid

Who are we looking for

Looking for Lead Application Support engineer along with Telecom background with minimum 8 year of experience.

Basic qualifications:

5+ years of software development, or 5+ years of technical support experience

Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience

Knowledge of AWS, Varicent ICM, ETL, SQL based technologies

Demonstrable understanding of web services, data systems, technical workflows, and software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of software development, or 5+ years of technical support experience

Experience on ETL based system, SQL

Experience using AWS tools, including AWS CloudWatch, AWS S3, AWS EMR, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS Athena.

Experience on Varicent (
not a must-have), SAP Callidus, HANA (optional)

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications (whether internal or external facing)

Experience on Security, SOX Compliance regulations.

2+ years of experience writing SQL queries, scripts in programming languages such as Java, Python, etc.

Well versed on ITIL processes.

Well Versed on Agile software processes and methodologies.

Good written and communication skills.

Cross team co-ordination skills to resolve issues.

Knowledge on networking concepts.

Ability to identify performance issues in enterprise application.

Here are broader responsibilities this individual will be covering:

Deploy across SPACE platform (AWS) and DCS (Varicent ICM) using ServiceNow and Jira

Monitor daily/weekly/monthly operations across SPACE platform (AWS), DCS (Varicent ICM), MCS (SAP Callidus/HANA)

Coordinate with file transfer team (EFT/SFG) on needed basis

Support SOX controls - execution and walk-throughs

Production and NPE maintenance and restores.

Support security/compliance enterprise-wide initiatives
