The Autonomous Vehicles team is searching for an experienced test and triage engineer to support our new autonomous parking features development. We are the leading artificial intelligence computing company and are paving the way with innovations in gaming, visualization, supercomputing and self-driving cars. As a key member of our Autonomous Vehicles team, you will be supporting the software testing of our autonomous driving software stack. NVIDIA gives automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and start-ups the power and flexibility to develop and deploy breakthrough artificial intelligence systems for self-driving vehicles. Today, we are working with over 270 partners that are using our platform in the development of autonomous cars, trucks, shuttles, and taxi. Core Job Responsibilities Develop testing scenarios and procedures to comprehensively assess engineering solutions in Autonomous Parking and related features Triage test data on a technical level and be the bridge with engineering for root causing issues Independently bring up vehicle, perform in-car testing and record test results Provide reliable and consistent judgment of product quality from the perspective of end user based on evidence collected from road test Work with operation team to arrange logistics for testing Report product issues in a timely and structured manner using issue management system (JIRA) Must Have(s): Experience with testing and validating Assisted Driving (ADAS/AD) automotive systems or similar robotic applications Ability to understand engineering changes for development testing iterations and create test plans accordingly Ability to independently lead the in-vehicle testing for software development process and drive resolutions for issues found in test operations Ability to analyze data and do first-pass root cause analysis of product quality issues before sharing with engineering Ability to follow up with engineering team and maintain track all issues and their root cause Full time on-site availability Proven track record of root causing engineering issues followed by creating test plans, executing test cases to conclude resolution. metric and reporting it back with detailed documentation Excellent communication skills Self-driven and on the go problem solving skills Ability to work with test and vehicle operations team to arrange logistics for testing Valid drivers license Tech savvy and able to learn tools fast Degree in field of engineering (or equivalent experience) Preferred: Experience with automotive Tier-1 supplier or OEM Familiar with Linux bash and usage of scripting languages Keywords: active directory information technology golang California Test Engineer - Autonomous Vehicle || Santa Clara, CA || Onsite roopesh@vizoninc.com https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2330677&uid= |
