Need someone with 10-12 years of experience Job description: As a Lead BI Engineer, youll work on cutting-edge BI platforms, enabling end-to-end visibility and performance measurement through intuitive dashboards, seamless data modeling, and efficient reporting solutions. The Skills You'll Need: Core BI Skills Deep expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service), SQL, data visualization, data modeling, and data warehousing. Proficient in working with databases like Oracle, MySQL, DB2, and Postgres; strong skills in writing optimized SQL queries. Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake. Additional BI & Data Skills (Good to Have) Certifications in Power BI or any leading data platform. Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, and SSRS. Familiarity with Power BI Admin features, including version control, usage analytics, and capacity planning. Knowledge of diverse data analysis and presentation methodologies. Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, , or Python. Exposure to multiple BI tools and experience migrating legacy BI solutions to modern platforms like Power BI. Experience implementing Generative BI use cases. Exposure to cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and features. Soft Skills & Business Acumen Domain knowledge across industries such as Retail, BFSI, Healthcare, and Telecom. Familiarity with the complete SDLC. A creative, out-of-the-box thinker, able to bring fresh ideas beyond standard project scopes. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with a resourceful mindset and experience in identifying and mitigating risks effectively.
