Job Title: Data Center Engineer Location: Napa, CA (Work from Office) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment. Monitor and optimize data center performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute data center projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Perform regular system audits and capacity planning to identify and address potential issues proactively. Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard data integrity. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime. Maintain documentation of data center configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and operational efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Center Engineer or in a similar role. Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud computing. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
