Role Responsibilities: The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements related to complex data and business processes. This role involves designing and coordinating changes to legacy system modules, documenting program and project deliverables, and assessing the feasibility and integration of solutions with existing systems. The analyst ensures the quality and functionality of deliverables through rigorous quality control, playing a key role in delivering robust enterprise-level solutions. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Must Have: 10+ years of experience in a corporate or government setting as a programmer analyst. 5+ years of experience exposing CICS and COBOL programs as web services via CICS Transaction Server (CTS) and/or CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG). Strong programming skills in mainframe environments, including COBOL, CICS, TSO, MVS JCL, ENDEVOR, CA Tools, SQL, DB2, and VSAM. In-depth understanding of computer programming principles, including testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation. Proven expertise in system analysis and design. Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats. Exceptional organizational, analytical, planning, and scheduling abilities. Demonstrated capability to resolve complex problems independently. Experience analyzing and modifying financial processes. Self-driven and capable of working with large, cross-functional teams. Demonstrated history of working with large-scale project teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred: Prior experience working with state or county government entities. Experience with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technologies. Experience in enterprise-level application development across multiple business domains.
