Role: Sr Talend Engineer Duration:Contract till June 2023 Location: 100% Remote MOI:SKYP Client is seeking a Senior Talend Engineer who will work closelywith the Technical Lead/Architect in creating robust data pipelines and data service APIs to aid in thedevelopment of our products and services. This is a hands-on development role for an experienced ETLdeveloper using Talend. Required Skills Talend, ETL, Data Job Duties Take ownership and accountability for delivering ETL solutionsunder the guidance of a Technical Lead. Enhance existing Talend ETL solutions that are deployed to TalendCloud Design, Develop and Test new Talend ETL solutions Build data expertise and a deep understanding of technicalenvironment and business domain knowledge Work independently to figure out technical challenges, andidentify options and come up with Solutions Job Requirements 4 years of experience (mandatory) with Talend writing secure,stable, testable, maintainable Talend ETL code with minimal defects. Expertunderstanding of the Talend Open Studio platform is expected. 6 years of overall experience working on data integration andETL solutions in a Data Warehouse environment Strong knowledge of relational data modeling, development, andtesting in an Oracle (preferred) or similar relational Database environment. Good knowledge and experience using Java within the Talendplatform Good knowledge and experience using the Talend ManagementConsole Familiarity with AWS (e.g. S3 storage) especially for accessingdata in the Cloud Desired Skills & Experience - Experience with Python or Java Experience with Talent Cloud platform a big plus Experience working with Atlassian (or similar tools) Jira,Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc. Knowledge of DevOps principles as they relate to data solutions Familiarity with various data technologies including NoSQL(MongoDB/ DynamoDB), Search (ElasticSearch) and Data Lakes Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with theability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
