Work independently to develop, configure, and unit test programs from specs (source to target mappings). Work closely with data architects, reporting team and application team on ETL development efforts. Design and document ETL solutions for projects, estimate work effort and provide status of tasks. Coordinate development work of all Informatica ETL developers which are located offshore and onshore. Allocate work as needed to ensure high quality for their deliverables and support their development. Provide technical support for the administration and production support of Informatica. Provide level three troubleshooting, baseline, and operational support. Create and maintain best practices and methodologies for ETL development team. Prepare runbooks that describe, and support code that is developed, as well as production support. Identify improvements to the data warehouse environment. Work with the offshore team to implement these solutions. Know when to escalate issues to the right party as required.
