This role will support Software Engineers who are develop web applications using mainly Angular, Java and Oracle technologies to develop solutions for the Fixed Income, FX and Syndicate suite of applications. The Expertise Were Looking For Bachelors degree. 6+ years of related experience within a technology environment. Experience of working with cross-functional teams. Financial services industry experience preferred. The Purpose of Your Role You will perform the role of System Analyst/Scrum Master for an Agile. You will partner with other members on the squad to accelerate value delivery, by acting as a change agent and facilitator. You will support the team as they mature their understanding and application of agile principles and practices and remove impediments to fully realizing the benefits of working in an Agile format and structure. You will assist the Product Owner/Squad Lead with requirements gathering, data analysis and story writing. The Skills You Bring You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills You can explore a system, including the technology and data models You are intellectually curious and enjoy learning complex business processes You are detailed orientated and organized You have experience in Agile and the role of a Scrum Masters You possess excellent communication and people-interaction skills, and can rapidly build trust You have a continuous improvement mindset and can adjust and adapt to new processes & priorities You are an effective facilitator and can resolve challenging team issues Natural ability to nurture strong transparent and trusting relationships with partners Effective at traversing the gap across distributed teams You take pride in building a team ethos that is committed to getting the work complete and maintaining the relationships needed to thrive You take the initiative, led by example and hold both yourself and your team accountable Familiarity with building financial industry applications in the Cloud is a plus You deliver Value to client by: Building and maintaining meaningful and positive relationships with Business Partners, Customers and Team Members Understanding and contributing to the long-term vision for the team Encouraging behaviors and practices that increase team performance and effectiveness Removing impediments/roadblocks as they arise. Crafting User Stories which capture the Business need, as well as determining the criteria for when the User Story is considered acceptable Ensuring that features implemented by the team meet the expectation and needs of our Business users Managing and coordinating logistics for agile ceremonies (e.g., backlog prioritization, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives) Supporting adoption, and consistent use of, enabling tools (e.g., Jira) Working with Technology & Business Partners to understand project objectives, timelines, and requirements.
