Role: Agile Project Manager Location: REMOTE Client: U.S. Department of Education Duration: 6 years Job description: Background: Innosoft is seeking an Agile Project Manager who will guide project teams as they create a robust modernized Enterprise Grants Platform. The Agile Project Manager shall coordinate with the Program Manager and Team Members to successfully implement the Program objectives. The Agile Project Manager will develop work breakdown structures, charts, tables, graphs, major milestone calendars and diagrams to support project timelines, project planning, etc., and must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills. The Agile Project Manager will also work closely with Business Analysts to ensure that User Stories effectively map to contract objectives and the Requirements Traceability Matrix. The Agile Project Manager will leverage Agile Metrics and program tools (Jira and Confluence) to enable Transparency, facilitate and report on Inspection results, and drive Adaptation to improve the Agile teams velocity and throughput. Duties and Responsibilities: Establish, maintain, and manage the program schedule, reflecting WBS, dependencies, key milestones, critical path, risk mitigation, evolving challenges, and customer needs Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives Supervising and motivating project groups in an agile environment. This enables them to ensure that assigned tasks are completed within the given time and ensure that the performance is top-notch. Foster collaboration among project teams, development teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and RTE using Scaled Agile methodology. Provide guidance on Estimating, Story Mapping, Requirements and the concept of Emergent Design. Build a comprehensive Product's Backlog and ensure that it is appropriately scoped and prioritized. Increasing the pace of deliveries, thereby ensuring the team or company does not run short or out of time. Identify, categorize, and proactively manage program risks using a structured approach Lead the technical delivery work and conduct technical reviews, status meetings, and generate reports Effectively execute the project plan to successfully deliver within budget and on schedule Monitor and report to Program Manager on development progress including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project schedule. Establish weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items Agile Project Manager Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related technical discipline is required. A Master's Degree is preferred. PMP or equivalent certification. SAFe, CSM or equivalent certification. General Experience: 10+ years of experience in program or project management A proven track record of successfully implementing projects using Agile methodologies including 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams. Progressive broad-based information systems experience (which could include consulting) with state-of[1]the-art hardware and software systems, knowledge and implementation experience in new computing architectures and networked computing structures.
