BUSINESS ANALYST As a Business Analyst at Prudential, you will effectively understand business processes and project data to create an overall assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns. A highly skilled, business analyst with a proven track record of achievement in requirements gathering, creation of functional requirements, process flow analysis and design, conducting functional and regression testing, coordinating user acceptance testing, content management analysis, database architectures, detailed data analysis and modeling, proof of concepts coordination. Collaborates with the systems security team to accomplish a high level of application security Responsibilities... Responsible for working closely with various stakeholders groups to build business requirements and functional design documents. Writing the QA and UAT test scripts and coordinating the end-to-end system testing, mapping the business processes, designing the data bases, building training and knowledge management documentation. Worked on the design and implementation of a company-wide application for technical documents. Conducted business requirements elicitation, created detailed functional requirements, worked on the RFP questions and selection. Managed the daily scrum meetings, defined the user scripts, and managed the product backlog using the agile methodology. Facilitated the communication between various functional teams and the vendor to determine the application problems, remediation approaches, and the implementation path. Develop, review and/or analyze project management documents (project charter, organizational breakdown structure, work breakdown structure, program/project management plan, responsibilities matrix, etc.). Define KPIs and metrics to measure specific business outcomes Research data sources and aggregate the data pipelines to create the necessary reporting datasets Design and build custom reporting and dashboards to support usage and adoption. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Performing requirements analysis. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements. Support program/project requirements through analysis of client strategy and needs documents, such as balance scorecard, vision and scope documents and program road maps. Use project management methodologies and Agile scrum methodologies as applicable to the project. Perform schedule and/or backlog development, maintenance, and revision/grooming. Support project requirements, scope, and change management issues. Coordinate and manage documentation, presentations, and processes in compliance with organization standards. Solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways, using professional concepts. Work on diverse problems requiring analysis. Identify key process improvements to help the team work more efficiently. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline with at least 5 years of demonstrated prior experience of service delivery in a SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS delivery organization OR at least 5 years of equivalent experience is required. 5+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence and data analysis Experience in SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse solutions and databases Experience working in Cloud Based Technologies e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following methods - data analysis/visualization, financial modeling, statistical modeling Experience with data analytics tools such as QuickSight, Tableau Expert-level MS Excel skills inclusive of advanced functions and VBA/macro-writing experience Experience with SQL and manipulating large data sets in relational databases Proven ability to use hard data to back up assumptions and recommendations Ability to distill, cater, and communicate complex analysis and insights to senior leaders, both verbally and in writing Proven ability balance competing priorities, workloads, and tight timelines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Proven examples of business automation success Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline Keywords: quality analyst |
