Job Title: Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Location: Dallas,TXJob Summary:
We are looking for a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and manage Agile Release Trains (ARTs), ensuring smooth delivery of business value by facilitating ART events, removing impediments, managing risks, and optimizing processes. This role bridges product management, development, and operations to align ART activities with organizational strategies and goals.Key Responsibilities:

Value Stream Management: Manage the ART flow of value through all phases of Program Increments (PIs).

Strategic Alignment: Coordinate and align ART initiatives with broader organizational objectives and roadmaps.

Cross-Team Coordination: Act as a primary liaison between Product Management, Development, QA, and Operations teams.

PI Planning: Facilitate and execute Program Increment Planning events, including scheduling, coordination, and progress tracking.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and dependencies to ensure timely delivery.

Bottleneck Resolution: Manage and resolve bottlenecks by efficient resource allocation and task coordination.

Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration and transparency among Agile teams within the ART to drive collective success.

Process Optimization: Promote and enforce lean-Agile practices to improve productivity, efficiency, and delivery timelines.

Inspect & Adapt (I&A): Lead continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and I&A workshops.

Program Execution: Monitor program execution, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality targets.Must-Have Qualifications:

Experience:

48 years of hands-on experience as a Release Train Engineer.

815 years total experience in IT, preferably within Agile and DevOps environments.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including workstream leads, business analysts, system analysts, and QA teams.

Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to influence and build consensus across teams.

Organizational Skills: Strong planning, coordination, and multitasking capabilities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.Desirable Skills & Certifications:

Industry Experience: Finance or Banking domain experience is highly preferred.

Certifications: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification.

Agile Mindset: Familiarity with Agile way of working, and experience leading Agile transformations.

Tools & Automation: Exposure to Agile management tools (Jira, Rally, etc.) and automated release pipelines.
