This role combines deep product expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM with hands-on experience in managing and delivering complex payroll solutions. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME), responsible for driving payroll configurations, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Product Expertise & Configuration Serve as the primary SME for Oracle Cloud HCM NA Payroll, including legislative updates and payroll integrations. Configure and maintain payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, and calculation rules. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations across the U.S.2. Project Management Lead or support payroll-related projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and IT to implement enhancements and new functionalities. Track milestones, manage risk, and report status to stakeholders.3. Support & Issue Resolution Provide Tier 2/3 support for payroll processing, addressing errors, discrepancies, and inquiries. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with Oracle Support and internal teams to resolve system bugs or service requests.4. Testing & Documentation Develop and execute test plans for payroll enhancements, patches, and upgrades. Document configuration, system procedures, and payroll operations. Maintain up-to-date user manuals and training materials.5. Strategic Input & Continuous Improvement Evaluate current payroll processes and recommend improvements leveraging Oracle Cloud capabilities. Stay current with Oracle Cloud HCM releases, identifying opportunities to adopt new features. Provide insights and recommendations on roadmap planning and system optimization.Essential Skills: 46 years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM, with a focus on North America Payroll. Proven experience leading or managing projects within HCM or Payroll domains. Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax configuration, and compliance in North America. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Desirable Skills: Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM modules beyond payroll (e.g., Absence Management, Time & Labor). Familiarity with Oracle HDL/FBDI, BI Publisher, or OTBI for reporting and data extraction.
