The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and brings recent exposure to trading environments and financial systems. You will contribute to both backend and frontend development, with an added advantage if you have Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript skills. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days a week onsite in Midtown NYC. Only candidates who are currently local to NY or NJ will be considered. Key Responsibilities Design and develop full-stack web applications using C#/.NET Core and JavaScript/TypeScript. Build scalable solutions for capital markets workflows like order routing, trade capture, risk, and pricing. Collaborate closely with business analysts, PMs, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software. Work on real-time and batch processing applications. Develop responsive, user-friendly UIsexperience with Angular is a strong plus. Integrate systems with APIs, trading platforms, and market data feeds. Perform database operations using MS SQL Server. Maintain clean, testable code and follow best practices in code reviews. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience with .NET/C# development. Strong front-end skills in JavaScript/TypeScript; Angular experience is a big plus. Recent and relevant Capital Markets/Trading environment experience is required. Understanding of financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income). Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Proficient in SQL, stored procedures, and data access optimization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Knowledge of FIX protocol or market data APIs. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Git, or Jenkins. Prior work in FinTech or financial services.
