http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2384958&uid=b2c7d254a9b44900a6b23e347da7c25b **Job Title:** Windows Server System Administrator **Location:** Louisville, Kentucky **Responsibilities:** * Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, including operating systems, server roles, and features. * Manage and administer Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and security settings. * Implement and maintain server security measures, including patching, updates, and security hardening. * Monitor server performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions. * Troubleshoot server hardware and software issues, providing timely and effective resolutions. * Manage and maintain backup and recovery systems and procedures. * Administer and maintain DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows Server services. * Implement and manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). * Manage file and print services on Windows Servers. * Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including performance tuning and capacity planning. * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the Windows Server environment. * Collaborate with other IT team members and vendors to implement and support IT solutions. * Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed. * Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows Server technologies and best practices. * Implement and manage security updates and patches in a timely manner. * Assist with the planning and execution of server upgrades and migrations. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Proven experience with Active Directory administration and management. * Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and protocols. * Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). * Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -- teamware solution | Exec.
