This role requires strong architectural thinking, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to guide and mentor teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient platforms. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of how developers interact with tools, services, and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, architecture, and setup of robust Internal Developer Portals (IDPs) and Developer Experience platforms. Architect and develop advanced AI-driven solutions to solve enterprise-wide business challenges. Champion standard enterprise design patterns and automation best practices across development workflows. Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to gather requirements and design intuitive developer interfaces. Build high-quality, scalable, and maintainable systems leveraging cloud-native technologies. Implement and maintain DevX pipelines using tools like Harness, Backstage, and Cortex. Drive excellence in development through code reviews, automated testing, secure coding practices, and documentation. Set the direction for the engineering team; mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence. Continuously improve the developer experience by identifying and eliminating friction points. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our platforms are cutting-edge. Own troubleshooting and resolution of issues within developer experience tools and portals.Essential Skills & Tool Expertise: Developer Experience Tools: Experience building or implementing platforms like Backstage, Cortex, or similar. CI/CD & Pipelines: Deep experience with Harness or equivalent tools to create efficient release workflows. Containers & Orchestration: Strong proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes. Monitoring & Logging: Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog. Code Quality & Security: Familiarity with tools like SonarQube and Snyk for continuous code quality and security scanning. Documentation & Collaboration: Proficiency with Confluence, Notion, or similar platforms. Proven experience in enterprise-grade software architecture and automation frameworks.Desirable Skills: Background or exposure in auto finance or financial services domain.
