Role: Project Manager Location: Tallahassee,FL(Onsite) Duration:6+Months Client Job ID#:FL-PR145624 Description The Agency of Healthcare Administration (the "Department" or "AHCA") is seeking qualified candidates that will assist Information Technology (IT) in their daily operations, support, and services. The services requested in the following eQuote will be procured in accordance with the Department of Management Services (DMS) State Term Contract (STC), entitled Information Technology Staff Augmentation, 80101507-21-STC-ITSA and or 80101507-22-STC-ITSA. The term for this staff augmentation position is intended to be until June 30, 2023. The term for this engagement may be extended for a period not to exceed twelve months from the expiration of the State Term Contract contingent upon funding and satisfactory performance. The Department may select one or more candidates in this position. Candidates available immediately are preferred. Candidates are expected to work full-time and primarily onsite in Tallahassee, FL. Some remote work is acceptable and must be agreed upon by the agency. Duties Develop and maintain an Information Technology (IT) Project Plan with a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and associated costs within two (2) weeks of a contracted date. The Project Plan shall show coordination, initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing activities for the AHCA Incident Reporting project. Coordinate activities of the Agency designated project Teams, under the direction of Agency IT Project Sponsorship, including the respective IT Team Lead and stakeholders, following an approved project governance structure. Develop and monitor project plans supporting the successful completion of each respective phase within this overall project. Monitor Division of IT Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM) compliance, including Project Management Rule 60GG-1, Florida Administrative Code. Work products will be in the Agency ISDM template format. Capture and disseminate information pertaining to issues and risks with contingency and mitigation plans defined by Teams and the project charter and tracked in the team repository. Oversee development and recording of meeting agenda(s), decision point documentation and meeting summaries for all project Teams, as applicable. Disseminate information to all Team members through transmittal methods directed by the Agency per the project communication plan. Coordinate completion of work with team members including any other Agency vendors to implement the system improvements and/or new systems, as necessary. Develop and update plans to design, test and pilot required systems. Develop a training plan, including developing training material(s). All training materials shall be pre-approved by the Agency prior to use. Adhere to all security policies and procedures in the use of the Agency network and resources. Experience with agile frameworks and Azure DevOps is preferred. In addition, the selected candidate must have at least five (5) years of professional experience managing IT projects using the Project Management Institutes current Project Management Body of Knowledge. Business analysis experience is preferred. Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+ Years) Requirements This is an 100% onsite. Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience. Proficient with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, the Microsoft 365 Office Suite, and familiar with project management software development tools. Ability to work independently as well as in teams in order to meet deadlines Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects and work assignments. Knowledge of basic management principles and practices, methods of data collection and analysis. Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials. Ability to conduct fact finding research, to work independently, plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments. Proven communication skills, both written and oral, with technical and non-technical staff, and all levels of management. Proficiency in project management principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through project closure Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; Goal oriented action focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Ability to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, mapping of business processes, use cases, task and workflow analysis. Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow, and other activities relating to the continuous improvement of processes.
