https://tinyurl.com/4fj4s2y9 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2395503&uid=afd982c5ab154a0683f153891f41eb1c **Job Title:** Splunk Developer **Location:** Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to provide actionable insights. * Develop and implement custom Splunk applications and visualizations using Splunk's Web Framework and other development tools. * Onboard new data sources into Splunk, ensuring proper parsing, indexing, and data quality. * Write and optimize Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) queries for efficient data analysis and reporting. * Collaborate with various teams to understand their data and reporting requirements. * Develop and maintain technical documentation for Splunk solutions. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk performance, data integrity, and application functionality. * Implement and maintain Splunk security best practices and compliance requirements. * Automate Splunk administrative tasks and data ingestion processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). * Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk features, best practices, and industry trends. * Participate in the planning and execution of Splunk upgrades and enhancements. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * [Number, e.g., 2-5] + years of professional experience as a Splunk Developer or Splunk Engineer. * Strong proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL). * Experience in creating and managing Splunk dashboards and reports. * Understanding of Splunk architecture, components, and data ingestion methods. * Familiarity with regular expressions for data parsing and extraction. * Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and custom development. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and collaboration skills. * Must be located in the Charlotte, NC area or willing to relocate. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Core Certified Developer, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin). * Experience with Splunk's Web Framework for custom application development. * Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles within Splunk. * Experience integrating Splunk with other systems and APIs. -- teamware solution | Exec.
