**Job Title:** UI/UX Developer with ServiceNow Experience

**Location:** Houston, Texas

**Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and ServiceNow developers to understand user needs and business requirements.
* Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and effective user interfaces and experiences within the ServiceNow platform.
* Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for ServiceNow Service Portal, Now Mobile, and custom applications.
* Translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces using ServiceNow UI Builder, Service Portal widgets, and other platform tools.
* Develop and maintain custom UI components and widgets using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS within the ServiceNow environment.
* Ensure the consistency and usability of the ServiceNow interface across different browsers and devices.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
* Work closely with ServiceNow developers to ensure the feasibility and proper implementation of UI/UX designs.
* Maintain and contribute to UI style guides and design systems for the ServiceNow platform.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow UI/UX best practices, platform updates, and emerging design trends.
* Advocate for the user throughout the development process.
* Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX-related issues within ServiceNow.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
* [Number, e.g., 2-5] + years of professional experience as a UI/UX Developer.
* Proven experience designing and developing user interfaces for web-based applications.
* Specific experience working with the ServiceNow platform, particularly Service Portal and Now Mobile.
* Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
* Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
* Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly AngularJS (as used in ServiceNow).
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
* Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work, including ServiceNow examples.
* Must be located in the Houston, TX area or willing to relocate.
