The role involves developing hybrid operating strategies, powertrain control algorithms, and optimization logic, with active involvement in embedded software development and cross-functional coordination.Key Responsibilities: Develop hybrid control functionalities using Model-Based Development (MBD) techniques in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow. Contribute to the development of hybrid operating strategies, powertrain control, and thermal/torque optimization algorithms. Ensure implementation of Torque Security mechanisms in line with automotive safety standards. Manage and analyze customer software requirements. Debug and resolve software/system feature anomalies using MBD debugging tools. Generate embedded code using Real-Time Workshop (RTW) for automotive microcontrollers. Provide structured and timely feedback to supervisors on current and upcoming tasks. Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to process improvements and test methodology enhancements. Coordinate with other stakeholders for data gathering, issue resolution, and integration support.Essential Skills and Competencies: Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow for control system modeling and simulation. Strong expertise in Torque Management, Thermal Control, and Torque Security in hybrid powertrain systems. Proficiency in embedded software development and automatic code generation using RTW. Skilled in M-scripting, debugging, and system behavior analysis. Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Familiarity with automotive microcontrollers (preferably Freescale/NXP). Good knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle system architectures. Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including validation, testing, and calibration teams.Desirable Skills: Advanced control algorithm tuning and real-time simulation. Knowledge of AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 standards. Experience with HiL testing environments.
