The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Mapics (Infor XA) and a deep understanding of enterprise system workflows, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications on the AS400/iSeries platform. Work with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions. Enhance and support existing Mapics (Infor XA) applications and modules. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Maintain detailed technical documentation and support operational procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals.Essential Skills and Competencies: 68 years of experience in AS400 application development and support. Strong knowledge of RPG, CL, DB2/400, and SQL on the IBM iSeries. Experience in Mapics (Infor XA) or similar ERP systems on AS400. Proven ability to understand and debug complex business applications. Solid grasp of software development best practices and SDLC.Desirable Skills: Experience with modernization of AS400 systems or integration with newer platforms. Familiarity with job scheduling tools and change management systems on AS400.
