This role involves working hands-on with a variety of AV technologies, providing real-time technical support, and collaborating with IT and Facilities teams to ensure seamless AV experiences.Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment including microphones, projectors, video conferencing systems, smart boards, speakers, and displays. Provide live support for meetings, webinars, and in-person or hybrid events, including pre-event testing and real-time troubleshooting. Assist end users with AV-related issues in conference rooms and training areas. Manage AV room scheduling and ensure all AV systems are fully functional before events. Troubleshoot and resolve AV hardware/software issues, connectivity problems, and integration errors. Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and coordinate repairs, upgrades, or replacements. Work closely with IT and Facilities to install or upgrade AV systems as needed. Document AV configurations, troubleshooting guides, and setup procedures for future reference.Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as an AV Technician or in a similar technical support role. Hands-on knowledge of AV technologies such as Crestron, Extron, Logitech, Poly, Shure, and Neat. Experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx). Basic understanding of networking concepts and IP-based AV system integration. Strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings based on event needs.
