The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the health of the Nexthink environment, managing integrations, creating custom reports and dashboards, automating issue detection and remediation, and collaborating with various IT teams to enhance the overall digital employee experience (DEX).Key Responsibilities: Health Monitoring & Remediation: Perform regular health checks of the Nexthink environment and take necessary corrective actions to maintain optimal performance. Dashboard & Reporting: Design and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor end-user device performance and overall user experience. Automation & Remediation: Develop and deploy remote actions to automate the detection and remediation of issues across end-user devices. Nexthink Component Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Nexthink components, including Nexthink Collector, Engine, and Portal. Configuration & Integration: Manage configurations of Nexthink metrics, campaigns, remote actions, dashboards, and alerts. Integrate Nexthink with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk), and CMDB. Collaboration & Trend Analysis: Work closely with IT support, infrastructure, and security teams to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities across the environment. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Nexthink infrastructure, Collector deployments, and data inconsistencies. Capacity Planning & Scalability: Perform capacity planning and ensure the scalability of the Nexthink systems to handle increased demand. Documentation & Procedures: Maintain comprehensive system documentation, technical procedures, and operational processes for Nexthink management. Stay Updated: Continuously stay up to date with Nexthink feature releases, best practices, and emerging industry trends.Essential Skills: Nexthink Platform Experience: 35 years of experience administering the Nexthink platform, including creating and managing remote actions, metrics, dashboards, and investigations. Integration Expertise: Experience integrating Nexthink with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), SIEM tools, and CMDB systems. Scripting Proficiency: Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Power, Python, or VBScript to automate tasks and build custom remote actions. Operating System Knowledge: Strong understanding of Windows and MacOS environments, along with familiarity with mobile device management principles. Digital Employee Experience (DEX): Understanding of Digital Employee Experience (DEX) concepts and their importance in IT operations. Networking Concepts: Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Active Directory & SCCM/Intune Integration: Knowledge of Active Directory, and experience with SCCM/Intune integration with Nexthink is a plus. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail, capable of troubleshooting complex issues. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Desirable Skills: Customer Service & Interaction: Outstanding customer service and interaction skills. Ability to build relationships with internal teams and provide exceptional support to stakeholders. Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, effectively handling tasks within a demanding client-centric environment.
