You will be responsible for building robust, scalable Snowflake data pipelines and supporting complex analytics to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions in the media and advertising ecosystem. --- Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data models, pipelines, and ETL processes in Snowflake to process large volumes of Nielsen ratings and viewership data. Ingest and transform structured and semi-structured data (CSV, JSON, XML) from various Nielsen feeds (NPOWER, eVIP, NLTV, Digital Ad Ratings, etc.). Work closely with business analysts and media teams to understand ratings definitions and deliver usable datasets. Create data marts and reporting layers optimized for performance and reliability. Apply quality control, normalization, and de-duplication techniques specific to media measurement data. Develop stored procedures, views, and task-based orchestration within Snowflake. Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams (AWS/Azure) to ensure seamless data operations. Implement data governance, security, and access control policies. --- Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake. Strong understanding of media measurement, and audience analytics. Advanced SQL skills and Snowflake performance tuning experience. Experience with ETL tools like DBT, Airflow, or Talend. Familiarity with media data standards (e.g., LDA, NSI, PPM, C3/C7 ratings). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and S3/Blob data integration. Experience handling large datasets and transforming time-series and panel-level data. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fully remote setting. --- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Nielsen platforms (NPOWER, NLTV, Digital Content Ratings). Familiarity with ad tech platforms and cross-platform measurement (TV, OTT, Digital). SnowPro Certification (Core or Advanced). Experience integrating with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
