The primary focus of this role is supporting the Optimal Plus application, including upgrades, maintenance, and coordination with vendors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of web application deployment, server administration, and cloud service integration.Key Responsibilities: Administer and support the Optimal Plus application deployed on IIS, ensuring high availability and performance. Manage Microsoft IIS Web Server configurations, including deployment, monitoring, security, and patching. Coordinate with application vendors for upgrades, patches, and incident resolution. Lead or support the upgrade and maintenance cycles of web-based applications. Maintain and monitor AWS services and integrations related to hosted applications. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and failover procedures. Work closely with cross-functional IT and DevOps teams to ensure system stability and performance. Document all operational procedures, configurations, and support activities.Required Qualifications & Skills: 68 years of experience as an Application Administrator or Systems Administrator. Hands-on experience with Microsoft IIS Server (setup, deployment, and administration). Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Services (e.g., EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS). Experience maintaining web applications, including performance tuning and troubleshooting. Ability to work with external vendors for application support and upgrades. Basic scripting knowledge (Power, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred Skills: Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar). Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of networking and security practices in cloud and web server environments.
