This role will involve supporting the technical administration of OAS and related components, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our analytics environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) and a solid understanding of Oracle WebLogic Server. Key Responsibilities: Installation, Configuration, and Upgrades: Perform installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades of Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and underlying components (e.g., WebLogic Server, Oracle Database as needed). System Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor OAS system health, performance, and resource utilization. Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, implement tuning strategies for optimal query performance and system responsiveness. Security Administration: Manage security within OAS, including user and group provisioning, application roles, data security, and integration with enterprise authentication systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory). Content Management: Administer the OAS catalog, including dashboards, analyses, reports, and semantic models (RPDs). Manage content lifecycle, migrations, and ensure data integrity. Deployment and Lifecycle Management: Handle deployments of RPDs, catalog objects, and other artifacts across different environments (Dev, Test, Prod). Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices for OAS. Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies for the OAS environment, including snapshots and content restoration. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for OAS-related issues, including connectivity, data access, report rendering, and system errors. Collaborate with development and business teams to resolve issues. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for OAS configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. -- teamware solution | Exec.
