Client : Advantasure IT Position : Contract Location Remote Job Description : Data Analyst III Visa:No H1B Association experience is a big plus, if not BCBS experience will do. OOA is an out of area program within BCBSA. On the functional side they need to understand the business Remote is ok for these roles. Refined requirements This position requires data analysis and management skills and is responsible for monitoring and managing the successful ingestion of data files to and from varying sources across multiple clients. This role necessitates intimate knowledge of SQL, JSON and SFTP, and will be expected to facilitate and perform hands on level-one troubleshooting, data error corrections and customer support while meeting strict data exchange service level agreements. Working with the development, level-two supports and data operations teams as well as external clients, this role will help resolve defects as well as define and test product enhancements in a highly matrixed, Agile Safe environment. Top 3 Required Skills/Experience JSON proven ability in validating to expected results, identifying errors and editing large files SQL proven ability in validating database post file ingestion Data flow proven ability to manage data flow schedule while meeting service level agreements This is for the Out of Area Program for Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and ensuring File Submissions and timely product effectiveness for OOA across all plans across MR, SC, RA submissions. Must have strong knowledge for inner workings for BCBSA, OOA PEX File Exchange and backend and front-end knowledge. Work closely with customers, vendors, business analysts and application development project teams to resolve information flow and content issues. They ensure data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing and data validations. They provide data that is congruent, synchronized, and reliable and information that is readily accessible by the user. When data related system problems occur, they perform root-cause analysis and recommend or execute corrective action. Data Management professionals analyze and develop complex logical database designs, logical data models and relational data definitions in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements. They understand the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations. Additional responsibilities include the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models. They identify opportunities to reduce data redundancy, trends in data uses and single sources of data. Work Complexity - Works on multiple projects/issues/enhancements as a lead. - Works on complex enterprise-wide projects/issues/enhancements. - Provides support for master data management (MDM) system development, implementation and maintenance. Education/ Experience - Experience with BCBS Association and OOA PEX Program - Both Technical depth and Business Knowledge as well as error handling - Bachelor's degree related field preferred. - 7 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in quality assurance and/or data management required. - Expertise with data quality tools for data profiling, cleansing and standardization. - May require experience in implementing solutions and processes for master data and hierarchy synchronizations.
