| From: Vijay Chepyala, Talent Group [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Sr Project Manager- Data Migration Location: Kalamazoo, MI Remote Duration: 12+ months contract JOB Description: POSITION OVERVIEW : Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Sr Project Manager who has experience with large projects and programs for a large Data Migration Project to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Kalamazoo, MI. In this role, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible in strategizing and planning the data migration process, moving the data and converting content as necessary, while considering risks and potential impacts that involve dependencies on multiple IT and Business Teams as well as personnel from multiple regional locations. A successful candidate would leverage best practices in project management, working collaboratively with various divisions, vendors and cross functional teams while delivering cost-effective implementation exceeding stakeholder expectation POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Data Management strategy and plan to move the data and convert content as necessary Build project funding requests by working with team members to develop estimates to build staffing and financial models. Create and maintain a detailed project plan incorporating all aspects related to the planning, definition, development, testing and release of functionality. Responsible for planning the project to accomplish strategic goals within a defined schedule, cost, material resources, personnel resources, and quality standards. Successfully communicate status of the project for management and all project champions including project plans, risk analysis and mitigation, status updates, and post-project reports. Articulate and gain consensus on project goals with leadership to insure a timely and within budget results. Work with management to provide project team direction and vision including focus and prioritization, motivating people to perform, listening, and recognizing strengths to best apply available resources. Project Tracking ensure that all project results and phase gates are being met in accordance with the PMF process. This includes financial tracking and reporting. Analyze and handle cross-project dependencies to minimize impact. Ensure goals are met regarding customer happiness, safety, quality and team performance. Ability and willingness to work with global teams across time zones. Establishing PMO office for various global implementation rollout with effective governance, accountability, oversight, and reporting. Actively collaborate with the cross functional team, vendors and technical teams and help prioritize implementation working with business stakeholders Effectively utilize the PM Framework, leveraging the tools like Plan view and other collaboration tools like MS Teams for increased productivity Keywords: information technology |
