This role involves managing and executing regulatory reporting obligations across multiple EMEA regulatory regimes, working closely with cross-functional teams including Technology and Finance, and contributing to the automation and optimization of reporting processes.Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the firms regulatory reporting obligations across various EMEA regimes ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Act as a liaison between internal teams (Technology, Finance) and external vendors to gather and analyze regulatory project requirements. Develop, maintain, and enhance policies, procedures, and process documentation (e.g., process flows, business requirements, project plans). Monitor and report on project status related to regulatory initiatives and technical developments. Stay updated with changes in the regulatory landscape and proactively adjust internal processes to ensure compliance. Evaluate new policies or business initiatives to assess impact on regulatory reporting functions. Participate in automation and reengineering efforts to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy. Perform regular data analysis and provide business intelligence insights to support decision-making and compliance efforts.Essential Skills: Strong understanding of regulatory regimes in EMEA, including regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, etc. Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting processes and systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, direct, and execute reporting requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. Ability to document and maintain clear and effective process flows, procedures, and project plans. Experience working on cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across Technology and Finance. Proficient in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence/reporting platforms.Desirable Skills: Exposure to automation tools or scripting languages used in reporting or data extraction (e.g., Python, SQL). Prior involvement in regulatory change management or response to new compliance initiatives. Experience working with vendor-provided regulatory platforms or reporting solutions.
