| From: Dev Soni, Tek inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: ETL Developer Location: 100% remote Contract: 6-month contract to hire Skills: DataStage and Python Mid levelrole so I need 6 years candidate not 8 Responsibilities Design, develop and implement ETLframework for data movement through the enterprise Acquire data from primary or secondarydata sources Identify, analyze, and interprettrends or patterns in complex data sets Transform legacy ETL logic using theDataStage application into Oracle, Python, or the HDFS Platform Innovate new ways of managing,transforming and validating data Establish and enforce guidelines toensure consistency, quality and completeness of data assets Apply quality assurance best practicesto all work products Analyze, design and codebusiness-related solutions, as well as core architectural changes, using anAgile programming approach resulting in software delivered on time and inbudget Communicate risks or issues stemming from projects or tickets to coreteams as well as assigned technical delivery managers Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science,Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other related field in additionto relevant work experience required Minimum 3 years hands on experienceusing IBM DataStage or similar ETL tool required Minimum 1 year experience in UNIXShell Scripting or Python Scripting required Minimum 1 year experience performancetuning of ETL jobs, SQL queries and Shell scripts Minimum 1 year experience with Pythonrequired Minimum 1 year experience in databaseprogramming/development Exposure to Big data platform a plus Experience analyzing and designingdeliverables in an Agile environment is required Demonstrated independent problemsolving skills and ability to develop solutions to complexanalytical/data-driven problems Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well underpressure Keywords: |
