Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Onsite) Duration: 10+ Months Client: Automotive Systems Company of America (PASA) Interview Process: Video Job Description: Notes : Candidate is willing to relocate and work onsite in Farmington Hills. One and done interview! There will be a small coding exercise ding that interview. We have interview times for MONDAY! Required Skills: More than 7 years of embedded SW development required. Proficiency in C/C++ or JAVA required - embedded development! If they do not have embedded development please do not submit. Linux OS experience required. Experience with Yocto, cmake, or make required. Looking for a Senior Embedded SW Engineer who has hands on embedded SW development experience in either C++ or Java. In this role you will be responsible for designing embedded applications and services. This role is a long term, rolling contract. This role does require onsite work in Farmington Hills, MI. Please do NOT apply if you are unable to work onsite in Farmington Hills. Responsibilities Designing (including creating design documents) embedded applications and services (Android or embedded Linux) Developing codes and tools for embedded applications and services. Setting up test & evaluation environment (HW & SW) for embedded applications and services. Performing test and evaluation for embedded applications and services. Writing documents and reports that summarize the results and findings. Skills Four-year College Degree in at least one STEM major (Science; Technology; Engineering; Math). More than 7 years of embedded SW development required. Proficiency in C/C++ or JAVA required. Linux OS experience required. Experience with Yocto, cmake, or make required. Should be able to create and modify build environment/script. Experience with Android development highly preferred. Experience with low-level drivers, especially camera/sensor driver, is a plus. Knowledge and experience with camera/sensor/lens HW preferred. Experience with Git highly preferred. Experience with camera/sensor driver is a plus. Should be able to design, code, and test SW modules independently.
