We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Engineer with experience in the medical device industry. This role is responsible for optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing efficient distribution strategies to support both domestic and international logistics. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments to drive operational excellence, support new product launches, and mitigate supply chain risks while adhering to FDA and ISO standards.Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance workflows related to procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Distribution Strategy: Design and implement optimized distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of medical devices to hospitals, clinics, and distributors.

Logistics Coordination: Oversee transportation planning, carrier selection, and route optimization to support global and domestic logistics.

Warehouse Operations: Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

Supplier Management: Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and component quality.

Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

Data Analysis: Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL to monitor KPIs, forecast demand, and identify improvement opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams in R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing to support product launches and continuous improvement.

Risk Management: Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and implement risk mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity.Essential Skills:

Strong understanding of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP/GDP standards

Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

Skilled in data analysis using Excel, Power BI, SQL

Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication abilities

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentDesirable Skills:

APICS CPIM/CSCP or Six Sigma certification ( Belt or higher)

Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory principles

Knowledge of global trade compliance, import/export documentation, and international logistics

Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., Class II/III medical devices)Education:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Masters degree or additional certifications are a plus
