This role is critical to expanding and optimizing our Apple device infrastructure and will complement our current endpoint administration capabilities. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives around patch management, software deployment, and streamlined provisioning for macOS systems, ensuring a secure and efficient user experience.Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage MacOSX systems using JamF PRO with a high level of proficiency. Ensure all Apple devices operate on the latest OS patch levels and have current software versions. Create and maintain automated deployment workflows for software installations, updates, and configurations. Streamline the Apple device provisioning process, focusing on efficiency, user satisfaction, and compliance. Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex MacOSX issues from IT support teams. Maintain documentation for processes, policies, and system configurations. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with Symantec Endpoint Protection and EDR standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance endpoint performance, security, and manageability.Essential Skills: Expert-level experience with JamF PRO administration and macOS device lifecycle management. Deep understanding of macOS patch management, security compliance, and application deployment. Proven experience with automating deployment tasks for applications and OS configurations. Strong knowledge of Symantec Endpoint Protection and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) integration. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve macOS system issues efficiently at a senior level. Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong collaboration and communication abilities within cross-functional IT teams.Desirable Skills: Certifications in JamF 200/300/400, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), or equivalent. Familiarity with MDM best practices, Zero-Touch Deployment, and Apple Business Manager. Experience with scripting for MacOSX (e.g., Bash, zsh, or AppleScript).
