The primary responsibility will be to support and execute the migration of source code repositories and related configurations to GitHub Cloud, while ensuring the integrity and functionality of pipelines and integrations across development tools.Key Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end migration of repositories to GitHub Cloud. Reconfigure GitHub-specific settings including organization/repository setup, secrets, environments, packages, projects, webhooks, and GitHub Apps. Support the validation of migrated repositories and ensure operational continuity. Coordinate with development teams to repoint and reconfigure CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Codeway). Validate the proper integration of pipelines and tools post-migration. Work with GitHub admin or DevOps teams to manage access, security, and configuration settings. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to migration or pipeline failures. Maintain documentation and migration runbooks for repeatable processes.Essential Skills: Hands-on experience with GitHub administration or DevOps tooling related to GitHub. Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline deployment and reconfiguration using Jenkins, Azure DevOps (ADO), and/or Codeway. Experience in migrating code repositories and reconfiguring environments and secrets. Strong problem-solving and validation skills for post-migration testing.Desirable Skills: Knowledge of GitHub Advanced Security features and GitHub Actions. Familiarity with GitHub Apps and third-party integrations. Basic scripting or automation experience to streamline migration processes.
