Responsibilities: Hands on leadership position that helps manage and leadongoing evolution of DevOps to DevSecOps lifecycle for E-Commerce team anddeveloping process with industry standards and best practices. Lead a small team of 4 to 8 DevOps engineers includingcontingent team members to drive DevOps improvements, process standards, andtools adoption while support the existing platform as well as cross trainingresources. Collaborates with development, could engineering, releasemanagement team to ensure alignment and support across all team and maintainenvironments & optimize the usage & cost on need basis using optimalscaling strategy. Ability to engage in and demonstrate hand on DevOpsexperience in solving critical problems and guiding team on technical bridges. Accountable for developing & maintaining the CI/CDpipeline & improve the build and deployment process and reduce deploymenttime & enable fast delivery to production. Develop and maintain source control branch strategies,branch merge process and Configuration management tools. Effectively build, track and communicatesEnvironment/Infrastructure issues, Code/Data Sync, Sizing needs, architecturaldesigns to internal teams and present design options/considerations foroperational efficiency. Provide day-to-day support of multiple environments,ensuring that these environments are properly setup, configured, and highlyavailable for each team as scheduled. Assist in tracking patches and fix packs regularly acrossproducts and environments and test and safely roll out to production. Innovative DevOps solutions and solve technical problems andimprove operational & cloud efficiencies through automation. Coordinate release activities with other teams (internal andexternal), partnering with the Change Management group to ensure a smooth andtrouble-free roll out of releases. Employs strong DevOps principles and practices and continuesto identify & improve DevOps process through automation. Mentors team members on new technologies in area ofexpertise. Participates in 24x7 on call rotations. Perform other functions as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Experience: 12 plus years of experience in SoftwareDevelopment Management, DevOps, build engineering, release management,automation, agile software development methodologies & programminglanguages. Minimum 4 to 5 Experience in designing and implementingCloud platform, Multi region & Multi Cloud Architecture knowledge, stronghand on experience in Docker or Kubernetes solutions. Education: Bachelors degree in computer systemsdesign or computer science from an accredited college or university. Anysuitable combination of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge/Skills: Strong understanding of DevOps process and tools. Demonstrated ability to work on several projectssimultaneously. High attention to details. Experience with version control (I.e., Bitbucket, Git),issue tracking & build/release management. Cloud Certified Expert Either Azure, AWS or GCP Build, Configure & Maintain Cloud Environments throughautomation. Demonstrated ability to work independently, work in afast-paced environment and manage workload prioritization to deliver highquality work products on time with minimal direction Knowledge of OCP / AKS / Kubernetes Key Vault HashiCorp of Azure Key Vault Image Registry Jenkin / Bamboo IBM/HCL WebSphere Commerce or Ecommerce Product Knowledge IBM WebSphere Administration HIS, WAS Certificate Management & Kubernetes Patching Process Enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively.
