| From: Pradip Ojha, Sourceinfotech Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Data Analyst Location: Remote MOI: Video Rate: $55/hr on C2C Visa: No h1B and CPT Client: Discover Financial Financial Services or the Banking industry strong in SQL (writing complex queries, sub-queries, joins, window functions, etc.) Data Analyst MUST HAVES: Strong technical skills in SQL / must be skilled in creating SQL queries from scratch will be given a SQL test during the interview Snowflake experience pulling customer data, segmenting populations Critical thinking, problem solving skills Good communication skills as they will be communicating daily with team members, Discover Team Leads and Protiviti Pod Leads verbally and in writing Banking / prior lending / similar consumer restitution, remediation experience a PLUS Data Analyst Description Assistance in developing customer file extraction requirements. Participation in workshops to discuss lookback period and data limitations. Documenting requirements to extract customer data (including assisting with developing technical programming code/logic in SQL, SAS or similar based on Discover Student Loans preferred programming methodology) to assist Discover Student Loans with generating customer restitution population files. Documenting Discover Student Loans utilization of Discover-built calculation engines to apply calculations to the customer restitution population files. Assisting with final file formatting for processing of backup withholding, account credits or restatements, checks, and letters based on Discover provided procedures.
