Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer Location: REMOTE Duration: 6 months Visa: USC/GC MOI: Skype JOB DESCRIPTION: Must-have: Essential Responsibilities: Design and develop cloud streaming data pipelines and data lakes using AWS services (Kinesis, Kinesis Data Analytics, Flink, Lambda, S3, Fire hose, Redshift). Design and develop software within an agile framework, using Scrum or Kanban methodologies as required on projects. Collaborate with architects and technical leads to define and implement the data pipeline design. Participate in team agile activities and ceremonies (stand-ups, grooming, estimation, demos, and retrospectives) along with code and design reviews. Experience: 5-7 years of experience with cloud / data analytics development. Proficiency with Python, Flink, Pandas, SQL, and Spark. Experience with server less data pipelines and cloud data lake architectures. Familiarity with modern CI/CD deployment approaches to AWS cloud environments and automated testing frameworks (e.g. pytest). Direct experience with CDK and Code Pipeline is a plus. Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-[1] technical team members in daily project work (stand-ups, pairing, estimation, design reviews, demos, etc.).
