Here are the job-description for refrence:: Position : Remote Here is the JD that we have been sharing for the HW engineer requirement: Roles and Responsibilities: Analysis of impact of new Hardware support including new server hardware, NIC cards etc, associated drivers, RPMs Should understand nuances of updating hardware and associated drivers, implement script and packaging changes necessary Provide estimate and impact assessment for new requirements Preparing HLD/LLD with the best architecture available to support customer's requirement. Extensive development of applications using Python and Shell scripts. Technical skills: Baremetal Server Provisioning and management OpenStack Experience (Manage, deploy, configure and troubleshoot) (Nova, Neutron, Ironic) IPMI/iLO/Redfish/BMC hands-on for server management (HPE, Dell, Cisco UCS, Quanta) Server Virtualization technologies. (KVM knowledge) RHEL - Vast Experience in Linux, Kernel driver development and packaging. RHEL Realtime Kernel experience is an added advantage. iPXE, vMedia, kickstart file experience. Networking knowledge specifically in i40Gig Intel Driver, SRIOV Virtual Functions and Physical Functions. Docker/Kubernetes Additional Networking knowledge on DHCP, IPV6, VxLAN, BGP, VPP is a plus.
