This is a permanent hiring opportunity, open to Contract to Hire (CTH) and C2C. This is a hybrid role a mix of remote and in-office. The office location is Newark, NJ. About the Client: Our client is a design and technology services firm that helps enterprises and startups build leading-edge solutions. Their teams design and build innovative systems in areas such as blockchain, big data, real-time systems, next-generation social platforms, and SaaS platforms. Job Summary: This is a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js/React.js). This is a Full Stack role. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a Full Stack Engineer. You will play an important role in engaging in key client projects. You will be responsible for helping design solution architectures, design system components, build key components, and have experience in cutting-edge web applications. Responsibilities will include: Design and build front-end and middle-tier for web apps. Work with the tech lead on the application design and implementation planning. Work with UX designers to refine requirements and come up with solutions that manage complexity. Required Skills/Experience: 5-8 years of experience building Web applications. Minimum 2 years of experience building services with Node.js. Extensive experience building services using Node.js or other server-side technologies. Minimum 2 years of experience with React.js or other JavaScript frameworks. Solid JavaScript development skills are a MUST. Experience building customer-facing web applications. Experience working with RDBMS or NoSQL databases. Experience designing data models is a big plus. Experience building web3 applications is a big plus. Able to make design decisions that weigh trade-offs and utilize best practices appropriately. Must have a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Other Job Specifications.
